Rules Overview

This is a two-part contest that starts on June 15th, 2024 at 9 a.m. Each week there will be a different theme of photos that can be submitted. The winner of the final contest will receive one free night at Dooley’s Lodge and Resort!


Here are the rules:

1. You can submit as many photos as you want

2. The pictures have to be from 2024 (if they are prior to the start of the contest, they are still eligible)

3. Tag Dooleys Lodge and Resort on Facebook or Instagram to be entered!

Contest Details

Each week there will be a different theme of photos that can be submitted. Those who submit their photos for that week’s theme on Facebook or Instagram will be judged based on the number of likes those photos receive. The winner of that week will be entered into the final contest. There will be a post each Saturday at 10 a.m. CT on Facebook and Instagram announcing the winner of that week and the theme of photos for the new week.


The winner of the final contest will receive one free night at their next stay at Dooley’s Lodge and Resort. They will be judged against the other 10 weekly winners and chosen based off a poll given August 24-30, 2024.


The contest starts June 15, 2024 at 9 a.m. CT. Each week’s contest will end on the corresponding Friday at 4 p.m. CT. The last week of the competition will be August 17-23, 2024 and end at 4 p.m. CT on the 23rd. The final contest winner will be announced September 2, 2024 at 4 p.m. CT. The winner will be contacted about further information regarding their next stay at Dooley’s and the free night prize.

Disclaimer: All photos submitted for the contest may be used for Dooley Lodge & Resort publicity. Personal names and information will not be used.

FAQs

  • What happens if I have photos for a theme that didn’t occur during my stay?

    • Your photos as long as they are from 2024 will be accepted. Just make sure to post them on Facebook when that theme starts. Stay up to date by checking in each week.

  • How many times can I enter into the contest?

    • You can submit as many photos as you want as long as they match that weeks theme. You can post more photos throughout the duration of the contest too. But remember the way to be the weekly winner is to have the most likes on your photo.

  • How many times can a picture be posted?

    • A photo can be posted only once. You cannot repost the same photo and have it count as multiple entries.

  • When does the free night apply for my next stay?

    • The free night will count for the next time you stay at Dooley’s. It will not apply to an already booked stay.
